In this position the Director will be expected to further build out the product team, refined & manage the product development process, and establish & pursue a product strategy consistent with the overall company vision.
Responsibilities:
- Refine and expand product roadmap consistent with company vision, develop a highly disciplined prioritization regime, as well as drive and refine the PRD / MRD process
- Oversee the build-out of advertisers-facing features including video ad formats, targeting capabilities, and dynamic creative management
- Oversee the build-out of publisher-facing features including simple-to-use integration SDKs, monetization optimization, campaign management, and reporting
- Work with the marketing team to launch new products and defining product positioning, pricing , collateral, and PR impact
- Lead product concept development (wire framing, mock-ups, functional specs, etc).
- Conduct surveys of the product, competitive, and customer landscape to determine best practices and benchmarks that can be incorporated into making YuMe products better than the best
- Identify, build, and monitor key metrics and analyses necessary to measure the ongoing performance and competitiveness of products
- Take ownership of the products throughout their entire lifecycle: conception, design, feature delineation, build, quality assurance, maintenance, evolution, performance
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of product experience with online advertising platforms or media companies

- Experience in user-facing internet/software applications including experience with usability testing and user interaction design

The Sales Planners primary responsibility is to manage the media planning, buying and implementation of campaigns across YuMe’s network of publishers, supporting the national ad sales team.
